As we get older, some like to continue enjoying each day as they present themselves. On the other hand, others need to continue to test new boundaries. I like to think that I am one of the latter. So I challenged myself once again.
Wed, February 11, 7pm – 9pm, I went to a meeting of the St. Albert Photography Club held at the St Albert Inn. To my benefit, the evening's event was the presentations and narration of a Commercial Photographer, Ernest DeJesus. Of course I found myself fully engaged with iPad out taking down points of interest. The time flew by. The guest speaker was very interesting. The images he referred to in his presentation were dark and edgy in nature. A Mad Max look to them. He commented, "I don't like happy model's" or something to that effect. Great creativity. Hugely engaging. This was a definite good time. I look forward to more.
So your challenge is to get out there and continue learning and developing your skills. You'll feel better for it. Others will too.
